Hi Paul,
With the Jira Integration you'll be able to do any of the follow listed on this site.
The Jira Cloud platform REST API (atlassian.com)
Note: Jira recently changed the way their apps work and we've had to apply for our app to be manually approved via Jira. For the time being the option has been hidden from our site until it's approved. Once this is done I will write up an example process for you to test.
