Hi there, it would be good to be able to zero suppress rows and columns, but to call out a tolerance + or - . Example being with some comparisons across two children in a consolidated element you will get a very small residual even though it is zero when displayed. By adding a tolerance if you had a large workview with lots of detail, but only a few breaks (non zero) you could then only display the values that are worth looking at,

IN addition, if there was a set function to zero suppress based a single element, you could then display the children in above example (which have values) in the workview but know that if the parent = zero (ish with tolerance) they will not be kept in the view.

Hi Grantham,

Perhaps this could work also if we add a filter option at the top of any data column in a workview (perhaps enabled via a set instruction). If this behaves similar to an Excel Autofilter we could then allow multiple filtering condition types, including contains, lesser, greater or equal to. I suspect this may be a more powerful alternative to supporting thresholds on suppression.

Keen to hear your thoughts.

Cheers,
Ben
